Combines high quality fertilizer with Dimension pre-emergent herbicide. Dimension is a premium quality herbicide that provides late pre-emergence and/or early post-emergence controlling of crabgrass. Coverage: 12,500 sq. ft. Apply when ground temperature reaches 50 degrees or the last week in April or first week in May, depending upon the start of the year. Needs water to activate fertilizer, does not matter if ground is wet or dry when applying the fertilizer. Best time to fertilize is when there is morning dew.   This step and last step are the most important steps to put down every year. 

 

9-0-9 combines the value, nutrition, and efficiency of Nature Safe Natural and Organic fertilizers with the fertilizer efficiency of stabilized nitrogen found in UFLEXX.  The result is a turf and landscape fertilizer with an emphasis on efficiency and cost effectiveness.  This is a blended product with 60% Nature Safe (with Sulfate of Potash) and 40% UFLEXX.  The Nature Safe component is constructed of various per food grade proteins such as meat, bone, and blood meals that provide slow release nitrogen to the plant for 7-8 weeks.  UFLEXX is a combination of urea, a urease inhibitor (NBPT) and a nitrification inhibitor (dicyandiamide), which provides nitrogen over 6-8 weeks while reducing nitrogen loss due to leach, volatilization, and dentrification.  With a SGN of 230, Nature Safe 9-0-9 is a low cost alternative for fairway, landscape, and lawn care applications.  Treats 10,000 sq. ft., and should be applied every six to seven weeks from the previous application of fertilizer.  This organic fertilizer is safe for pets and kids to play in the yard after apply the fertilizer.  It also gives an instant green within 3-4 days.  This step can be used also for Steps 1-4 application, but we recommend using the Steps 1-4 we have because of Step 1 having the crabgrass preventer and the winterizer in Step 4. 

 

 

13-0-13 w/Agricoturf has a high phosphate level that provides proper amounts of nutrients to ensure good germination, seedling establishment and root development for next spring.  Coverage: 12,500 sq ft.  Apply usually in the month of October; depending upon the weather; usually 7-8 weeks after Step #3.  Does not matter if ground is wet or dry.  This is one of the most important fertilizers to put on your yard.
