In addition, MNLA encourages ethical business practices and a high
level of professionalism from all members. Members are informed of and encouraged to uphold the law including but not
limited to:
Obtaining a sales tax license and insurance; Holding a nursery inspection certificate from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture when installing plant material;
Installing rain sensors with new sprinkler systems; Applying phosphorus free fertilizers; Employing licensed pesticide
applicators; and Holding a Technology System Contractor license for landscape
lighting installations.
